Deck Description

Get Melira, Sylvok Outcast in your opening hand. Protect it with Lightning Greaves, or retrieve it from your graveyard with Evolution Charm, or use Diabolic Tutor to fetch it.

Instant win combos:
Melira, Sylvok Outcast + Murderous Redcap OR Heartmender OR Safehold Elite + Blasting Station
Melira, Sylvok Outcast + Murderous Redcap + Carrion Feeder OR Viscera Seer

Infinite power creature combo:
Melira, Sylvok Outcast + Heartmender OR Safehold Elite + Carrion Feeder

Infinite health is possible with Kitchen Finks, I just don't feel like paying 5$ per card.
Puppeteer Clique could also be good but It is hard on mana and useless early-game.

Deck discussion for Melira / Persist

Hi there. This is a nice build and you have done well at keeping the cost low. I have plenty of suggestions but most are pricey so instead take a look at my build to see if there is anything you like. My build is very similar except with more search and control.

At the very least I suggest cards like duress because its a lot easier to make your opponent get rid of their combo disrupting cards than it is to recover a lost piece via Evolution Charm. Also Altar of Dementia is a great cheap sacrifice engine and alternative win condition.

Good luck with the deck!

Durress is certainly a viable option, I will probably put it in my sideboard and use it against people who have counterspell.

I had seen Altar of Dementia but it is too expensive for my taste so I put in the Bloodthrone Vampire instead.

I am still unsure about Viscera Seer. Does it help you a lot?

Anyways, thanks a lot for your input!

Personally I like them. I would consider him more useful than bloodthrone for its speed and cost. But in this build without kitchen finks he may not be quite as useful.
There has been a few cases where I have Melira in play with Viscear and Safehold Elite on the board but nothing to deal fatal damage with. In that case I can scry as many times as I like until I get the card I need such as Murderous Redcap or Blasting Station and then I leave that on top of my library so at least by next turn I will have everything I need to win.
Fallen Ideal is a pretty neat Idea but I personally think you will get more use out of Duress for its cost.

No problems, glad to help.

I will probably end up buying both Duress and Viscera Seer along with this deck. They are inexpensive and I will be able to test them and see what I like most. Duress is definitely a must have against anyone who has some sort of control/remove in their deck. I guess Duress could also break some combo heavy decks. If I enjoy playing this deck a lot, then maybe I'll come around to buying some Kitchen Finks too! :)
