Deck Description

Stall until mass polymorph! Sideboard is to totally mess with people...they're waiting for the turn 6 polymorph and instead you pull a turn 3 or 4 polymorph.

Deck discussion for Mass Polymorph for the win

you should really drop the white mana. Having just condemn isnt a good enough reason to go 3 colours. Also you dont need to hardcast iona :p Oblivion rings seem unneccesary since you will lose to agro and countermagic, and boardsweeps. maybe put in unified will instead, and definately 4 awaking zones

On your fatties, why is ulamog in there!!! All he is is an 11/11 dude. You havnt cast him so you might as well get value out of your fatties, such as stormtide leviatan and Terastadon, to defend you if you are on very low life when you mass polymorph.

I think I'll take ulamog out...the original deck was a combo deck with a magister sphinx and 2 of the hellkites that deal 5 damage when they hit the field...so I would mass poly for three and that would be game...but i found that if they destroyed one of my tokens then I would mass for two and end up losing for whatever reason...since the new changes it's been running pretty good...wins bout 8 out of 10 times except against cap America...

Yeah, I don't know what Tangy's goin' off about. But I just broke this deck down very thoroughly & this deck is sick. Very sexual & personally I'd be nervous playin' against this one.

See you have all these wonderful cards to delay another play until you pull out Ulamog, then you make them destroy their own deck. So much beautiful control, but the one thing I would do differently is adjust your lands. Personally I'd ditch alot of the specials & go for straight land to speed it up, considering you are at a slight disadvantage on speed. Do that & this sh*t would be delicous, already is; but still.

Kudos & goodjob Boss! I give ya 9.4 stars for this bad boy.

Thank you very much! I'm a control player so adding the white in there for more control has really helped...it was originally just blue and green but i decided to put white in there for more planeswalker and creature control and it has actually been very helpful...I just enjoy the option of being able to hardcast all my creatures...I've been able to hold opponents until i can hard cast something due to thought hemorraging out my mass poly's or whatnot...and being able to hardcast ionna is amazing! Thank you for the compliment though! :D

I would put in another biggie or 2. The amount of spawn tokens you have is gonna be a lot more than 3, so why not use them instead of wasting them? I would add a terastadon and a stormtide laviathan. Also you could use It That Betrays instead of Ulamog, annihilator 2 isnt that much of a difference when you are going to have Emrakul and terastadon destroying their stuff. Lastly i would put in 2 eldrazi conscriptions. With the amount of tokens you produce, you could easily play one on a token and swing for 10 while destroying 2 permanents... just saying.

Thank you for the advice! I will definitely think about it!!! I would rather be able to swing with EVERYTHING the turn after I mass poly...so having a terastadon out with stormtide would be bad for me...basically...not to be mean but..i want game to be over right after I mass polymorph you know? So swing for a shit ton next turn for game you know?

In my mass polymorph deck i also have stormtide, just because against aggro creature decks, you might mass polymorph on like 3 health, and then they just attack with 4 guys and you cant block them all and you die.

Also, if you have iona, Stormtide and emrakul, they can all swing next turn for 30 damage with evasion of some kind.

I actually made the change today to stormtide leviathon...I'm gonna try it tomorrow night in FMN and see how it does! my three targets are just ionna, emmy, and stormtide...and I have enough stall and counter magic to make it to turn 6 or 7...i'm also thinking about running silences in the main board so i can make them waste their mana and counter on a silence instead of on the mass poly...what do you think of that idea?

Im taking my deck to FNM tonight at manchester. Hmmm silence could be interesting, Forcing them to counter it or not be able to counter your MP. I was thinking of bringing in autumns veil from M11 for the same reason :-)

Great deck!
I suggest maybe adding a stormtide leviathan. Also you could use It That Betrays instead of Ulamog, as it will also STEAL their sacrifices for you to use as expendable items. I would also throw in a few Eldrazi Conscriptions just to pump up a token or two to get trample and annihilator 2to furthur boost that It that Betrays steal effect and totally annihilate (huh, i get why they call it annihilator :p) your opponent.

Another possible use for Silence, is using during their upkeep. If you think they might have an O-Ring or something for Amrakul. Pop that during their upkeep, and it's either counter or scoop usually. I rarely get to actually attack with an Amrakul. People tend to just enter their scoop phase and go on to the next game, lol.

Hahahaha that's happened before! What I love is having to stall the game out so long that you get to hardcast emmy...that's usually when they scoop for me...otherwise they want to play it out even thought it's pretty much game! If they play white I always call white with Ionna...so...

Hey you should check out my Poly deck also. One creature I can recommend to use is Madrush Cyclops. If you mass poly that in with your eldrazi you can attack RIGHT AFTER.
