varolz is one of few free sack outlets available in pioneer. I agree that he is garbage, but two yahenni makes the second a dead draw. I agree that abrupt decay is a needed card, but from the sideboard. Aristocrats shell is meant to go all in game one, interaction with the opponents board isn't a focus unless it needs to be.

I thought about luminarch ascension but is a dead card if solemnity is in play 1st or enters before luminarch gets it required amount of counters
Maybe as a sideboard card. The idea of the deck is to negate the -1/-1 counters with tocatli/solemnity.
Have you thought about a copy of Rhonas the indomitable? I know it isn't a dino but it seems like it would be very strong in your build. +1 from me.
When the opponent casts their spell it goes on the stack and then they cast from knowledge pool. Since the spell they cast is now part of the knowledge pool "pool" they cast a spell from the existing pool but exhaustion says one spell a turn they cannot cast anything.

if you're looking to draw the game I would add curse of exhaustion. you can play the lockout combo with mirror pool too if that interests you. I would also think about playing isolated chapel over forsaken sanctuary. At it's worst, Isolated chapel enters like the sanctuary. Just some food for thought. Cheers!
Griselbrand and rune-scarred demon are two of the best demons printed. I would try and make room for both as well as 1 copy of thrumming stone. Also, I would cut the white. With Immortal Servitude being a hybrid B/W card, white is really unnecessary to accomplish the goal of sacking apostles to summon demons.
Have you thought about a copy of rune-scarred demon? Also, I think a thrumming stone would be very helpful in putting out your clerics. Cheers!
thinking about it more and more, I think shadowborn apostle is a better choice than the rats. searching for a rune-scarred demon to get your combo piece is very handy
the combo trick is in lost legacy/laboratory maniac. i thought about the surgical extraction and figured it would be a better sideboard card.
