You end up drawing too many of the pieces used to kill your opponent if you play Disciple/Phyrexian Marauder/Shifting Wall.
The Sliver Package is better in that regard.
Ponder/Brainstorm/Gitaxian Probe help you dig faster if need be.
Serum Powder assures you'll always be able to kill quickly by taking up to 4 free 7 card mulligans.
