I don't play blue very much. I trade my friend a lot of blue spells for black and green ones. I did find two though...... Time to make room!

I really want to put a couple sphere of safetys' in there, just can't find a spot for them

I might actually run brave the elements over dissolve and cancel. Your deck is aggro, so you should be playing a creature and/or enchantment every turn. With brave, you only have to keep one mana open. Plus, brave fits in the theme of the deck because it can also be used to make your creatures unblockable.

Good call. I got plenty of those, I'll test it out tonight.

Got to test it against a black devo deck. Brave the elements won the game when I swung with a buffed up ghostblade. Tried to doomblade me....... Not so fast.

Well your could look at oracles insight if you want it's pretty decent. But my real comment is for Way of the Thief all you have to do is add a gate because its 2 mana cheaper and +1/+1 better than Flitterstep Eidolon add a land gate IMO.
Also you might want to think about adding more creatures that aren't enchantment creatures more heroic

Thanks for the tips! Played a couple games with this set up and it owned. Still think I need to squeeze one more creature in but I'll figure it out as I play it. The SB is just a mess now though haha!

I think that meletis was a good addition to blue why did you take him out?

I was torn between him and hero of iroas, I'm thinking the hero might not be needed now that the more expensive bestow costs are removed.

Hero of Iroas is also awesome with Pacifism and Holy Mantle. 1 mana pacifism is really good.

Man, Meletis is a beast! Pacifism is one of my favorite enchantments (cipher spells don't count). Unless you are trying to keep this budget, I'd suggest that you use temple of enlightenment instead. Your creatures rock, but if you could fit Anjani's Chosen in here ...

This so deserves a hot page.

I run temple of enlightenment in it but I put gates in this because it use to have way of the thief in it but I took it out for holy mantle.

Why is daxos hardly used? It's really good...

There are a lot of good white 3 drops. Brimaz, Loxodon Smiter, Banisher Priest, and Fiendslayer Paladin to name a few.

Daxos is really fun! I think when people read it they get overwhelmed by his paragraph of text and think he doesn't fit or he's too hard to build around. When it's actually one of those cards that doesn't need a deck built around it. Kind of like pack rat in black devotion. It's actually really OP, I've stolen many really good cards with him.

yeah i think its the fact that you can use any mana of colour that would make him defined as awesome. and the point that you gain life from the card. I run an azorius control deck and that card is number one on my lidt to buy for it.

Well I can tell you it plays even better than it reads. It's definitely one of those legendary creatures that warrant having more than 1-2 copies. Plus it's only 75¢!!!! You won't regret picking some up. Get a 3/3 with lifelink that's unblockable and let's you scry every time you swing on turn 2, drop daxos turn three then fabled hero turn 4 with ethereal armor and opponents won't know what to use removal on. You should post the link here, if like to see how he looks in a control deck.

I actually got my play set for $1.25 on eBay but last I checked they were 75¢ per.

The funny thing is it's dimir cousin (nightveil specter) is over $6! The only thing it has over daxos is it isn't legendary.

i'm making an azorius control deck right now and i can almost guarantee that daxos will make it.

Thought I should point out that Gods Willing doesn't work too well with your enchantments. If you have to give your guy protection from White then the Holy Mantle or Ethereal Armor would fall off. Just something to bear in mind. Could use Mizzium Skin in its place, doesn't make it unblockable but protects it just the same.

Good call, I've never played it against white.

0

To add to this, Gods Willing can also be used to create surprise blockers using your bestowed creatures. For example, if Eidolon of Countless Battles is bestowed on something that just attacked your opponent, and your opponents swings thinking the board is open, you can Gods Willing whatever the Eidolon is bestowed on to make him fall off and block.
