This is the first library that I ever constructed for competitive play. This is by far my favorite archetype to run purely for its effectiveness and playability. This deck works well against any competitive build in the meta including aggressive and control decks. Hope you enjoy!
The synergy of this deck is unlike any other. The combos in this deck are plentiful and extremely easy to pull off early game. The most common combo exists between Soul Warden + Soul's Attendant -> Ajani's Pridemate. The Soul Sisters pump up the Pridemate very quickly to create a huge ground threat. Another great combo exists between Martyr of Sands -> Serra Ascendant. Many times, Martyr of Sands' ability can net 12-15 life. This often pushes us over the "30 life threshold", activating the ability of Serra Ascendant, making him a 6/6 Flying Lifelink for one white mana. Chalice of Life is a great mid-game win condition that forces our opponents to compensate for artifact removal.
