I like your idea, a bit of a soft lock. Try using plague spitter instead of onxy goblet. I know it's a creature, but it can be a pain to deal with.

Hm that is an interesting creature (and thankfully it costs the same amount of mana). But wouldn't it eat a lot of creature removal? The idea behind the goblet is to have a very constant damage source that is relatively safe. I will give your idea a try, but I fear that I will end up in the same stalemate situations I had before I used the goblet.
I tried it out and it really didn't work. It never even managed to survive till my next upkeep and instantly got exiled/destroyed.
