Remove Journey to Nowhere and replace it with O Ring. Remove Mind Control and put in Soul Ransom. Now your deck will be standard legal.

If he did Soul Ransom, he'd have to splash black.You could use Soul Seizer/Ghastly Haunting or Spirit Away if you want to keep the creature control thing going.
