A far easier way to control creatures is using tainted aether, add sacrifice spells to that like diabolic edict, small pox etc... and you won't see many creatures. For the kill I use Chimeric Staff and Phyrexian Totem as they they do not come into the game as creatures. Playing it black-white is easier as well as you have better removal options like mortify and you have access to enchantment tutors like Enlightened tutor and the new Morningtide tutor.

Thank you for the comment. Looking back, I did play tainted aethers. I do wish to keep the deck monoblack however because I remember the ensnaring bridges working wonders against creatures as well as the banishings getting rid of things such as killer bees that get past the bridges. I think I also played extinctions.
