Deck Description

Here's an aggressive Red/Green (Gruul) deck that uses a Myr infinite mana combo & kills opponents with Disintegrate/Fireball or a Steel Hellkite attack.

I still have lots of work to do to the main deck (like replacing 3x basic lands for 3x Copperline Gorges).

For my sideboard, I still need to acquire cards like the instant spells Autumn's Veil, Avoid Fate, and Guttural Response to combat counterspells and the sorcery spell Gaea's Blessing to protect against mill.

How to Play

Given an ideal starting hand, this is the way to open with this deck:

T1 = Copperline Gorge. Llanowar Elves.
T2 = Mountain. Palladium Myr.
T3 = Forest. 2x Myr Galvanizer.
T4 = Land. Steel Hellkite or Disintegrate/Fireball (Infinite Mana Pump Win).
T5 = Swing with Hellkite (Infinite Mana Pump Win).

If they happen to get indestructible nuisances out, keep chump blocking with Bloodcrazed Neonates while burning your opponent. During round 2, don't forget to sideboard in 4x Act of Treason & 4x Fling so you can steal those bastards, swing then Fling.

If the Myr mana combo isn't looking like it'll happen, just keep burning your opponent, then pump the Hellkite.

Deck discussion for Gruul Intentions

I think it look nice and solid. I think that the combo might be a bit hard to achieve because it involves so many cards.
Also, it makes it a lot easier for us (the other users on here) if you keep the sets consistent. What I mean is keeping all instances of a card in the same set (i.e. Fireball or Llanowar Elves, don't actually input them as being in 3 different set even if the physical cards that you have are, if that makes sense.) Basically, so that they don't appear in 3 different rows when they all do the same thing. (I hope that makes sense.) thx

Thanks bananaguard, I'm going to fix the set issue now. That's a really good suggestion and it'll make the list easier to comprehend!
