this deck is firstly build around first strike + preventing combat damage, and secondly build around first strike + deathtouch. First strike + deathtouch is almost self explainatory, but why does this deck build upon first strike + fog effects? With first strike it's possible to attack, let the first strike damage pass, then when normal strike is about to happen, you play a fog spell. This lets you manipulate combat in a way that favors you every single time. Also, if your oppoenent has huge creatures, these fog effects can save you!Also Brigrid + basilisk collar lmao

Wouldn't something like Forfend or Repel the Abominable also be worth a look? Advantage is that you also can prevent removal in the form of direct damage spells (Shock, Lightning Bolt) with those, drawback is that they costs 2 mana
