Deck discussion for Extraction in Modern?

Looks great, but only one question, how do you win? Other than that i really like it.

so far, it's just by disabling the opponent, making him rage quit :D

another is by decking your opponent. :D

I like it as well, but I find the lack of win conditions disturbing. Maybe you could just add a few grave titans or something? idk, but it's awesome nonetheless.

so how i'd beat this deck is to make a green deck with a bunch of 1 of's with pos cards. You'd have no idea what to remove and id eventually win cause i'd still somehow get creatures on the field XD

to summarize what i just said (cause i can hardly make sense of it), the reason extraction works so well is because extraction removes an opponents win condition, essentially. To beat this deck, I'd just create a stompy deck that's extremely unfocused with terrible cards. You would use extraction, but it wouldn't matter, cause everything in the deck is terrible. And i would win because, hey, i have all day lol.

I just find it incredibly ironic that the best way to beat extraction, one of the games best builds, is to use the worst decks. :)

well said.=)

which is exactly why extraction is so good, because people wouldn't want to make the "worst" decks, right? =P

Extraction is very strange in Modern. It just so happens that all of the good "tools" for making either Iso-Seek or PAL aren't in the format =/

This means in Modern Extraction serves as more of a 'side-dish' than a main attraction. I would redesign this a little to have some decent aggro backed up by some disruptive spells, maybe discard, and also some extraction.

This is the design I made for Modern, for reference =]

Hope that helps
