Latin for "power/authority to command/control." Yes, I am a big fan of surewhynot, who uses Latin phrases for his deck titles. My goal is a field (possibly hand) control without using extraction. Well, I wanted to use extraction, but the cards are expensive as hell. Oh, and I want to keep this Modern. Thank you very much. No idea about sideboard yet, I was thinking maybe Holy Day or Darkness, the white and black versions of Fog, respectively. Help would be very much appreciated.

I am very much a fan of Luminarch Ascension, but Druidic Satchel seems odd in a deck like this. Try putting in some Ghostly Prisons or decent mid-level creatures to replace them.

I was just amazed at the *possible* mana ramp for Druidic Satchel, but yeah, it does seem kinda odd. Should Ghostly Prison be sideboarded?
