its all good. You didnt come off ass-ish at all.

I only started playing in the middle of Kamigawa, and that was when i lived in Arkansas and had nobody to teach me well. Sure, they would teach me to play, but never enough to beat them. Then i moved to Kirkland/Bellevue area in Washington and my dear god...I got a hold of a couple of good tournament players and they totally schooled me. Then they taught me all their tricks, and better, they taught me how to think like a pro. The problem came when it was serious enough that we had decks that could 0 and 1st turn kill...That killed the fun. So we all came up with less deadly stuff and it got back to the basics, having fun. Which sucks now because im back in Arkansas and i no longer have any decks that i can play with for fun.....Its like swatting flies even with my most pathetic decks.

Enjoy your nap, and thanks for not taking things the wrong way.....An internet argument is one where both sides lose :)

Well for starters, I only have to buff a Blighted Agent +9 points...and with an Artifact deck with a bit of mana acceleration, a cranial plating does that VERY quickly, a turn 2 is not unheard of with my deck...Just not consistantly.

Honestly i think we just play at totally different levels. I mean yeah i've destroyed really excellent tourney players, only in vintage because i dont have the cash flow to keep up with Modern tourneys. My group pretty much abhors the old Mox and Petals...They see them as cheap because none of us are into Magic enough anymore to want to 1 turn kill....We are exclusively for the fun of it now. You obviously arent, so there really can be no Comparison.

Normally i'd argue...even after your multi paragraph rebuttal (that made your point very well, might i add) but since you both know exactly what you are doing and care nothing for arbitrary card prices...I'm not even going to touch this one. Initially, I thought you a power hungry 12 yr old Munchkin. It doesnt happen very often, but this time i was totally wrong. I really didn't look much at your strategy, i just looked at the outrageous price and found no need for it.

Oh and for what its worth, while i still stand beside my decks against yours...I'd have to call you the better player and admit you'd kick my ass anyway. We are just not on the same Level :)

Do you just like big Numbers? I mean....I've only looked at like 8 of them, and every deck you make is over a thousand dollars, Needlessly. Why such rare cards when you could get the job done with less and have a deck an average person might play? This deck for example....I have a 50 dollar simple Artifact deck that will take it apart... I dont mean to be rude or anything, but is there some kind of reason for the price in ANY of your decks?

http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=288022 <-- Artifact Deck, Averages turn 5 wins very consistently.

Oh and i forget....Ferropede is awesome to toss a Cranial Plating on. In fact, anything unblockable is, but Ferropede is 3 colorless and also adds to your artifacts.

Two bits of Advice:
1. With affinity, yes your deck will be faster, but to make it even faster than that, I'd add 4 Springleaf Drums. Cheap to get out and can really come in handy. Plus it adds to your Artifact Count.
2. Blighted Agent....I use it in my deck and unless you just want to keep them alive longer, if its in my starting hand, you can pretty much bet money on the game only lasting 5 turns, Tops. I've killed countless people with it + Cranial Plating.

Take a look at my Artifactory and see what you think. It averages a 6th turn kill against anything that isnt SUPERfast.

You could take out 1 Vapor Snag, 1 Mana Leak, and 2 Ponders and add in 4 Cranial Platings, That would give you much more attack power at the cost of a little less spot removal/counters.

You are 100% right about the Thrummingrats....I've used it before and it is absolutely horrible to go against. I was actually leaving it out to depower the deck some. I know it sounds stupid, but the people i play against are nowhere near as good as the Tourney players i played against before i moved. This deck is meant just to provide some decent power without being anything too serious. Good call though.

No Artifact deck is Complete without Cranial Plating.

Also, think of this: Cranial Plating + Blighted Agent. May be a bit hard to pull off exactly as you have it...But Silver Myr should fix it.

I also gave it a sideboard of Followed Footsteps and Parallel Lives, just to be safe. :)

Well it almost Doubled the cost....But i think it was worth it. A long time ago i was laughed at for having 70 card decks....And although the ones i had all worked very well, i have become obsessed with keeping it at 60 if at all possible. Im thinking this might be able to work back up in that 70 range or so.

Man i love Chronazoa...Especially with Followed Footsteps on it. And the thought of also putting a Followed Footsteps on your Timebug....Egads man! Chronazoa Party!
Just to make it even more Overkill, Why not add a Coat Of Arms in the mix, to make those multiplying Chronazoa freaking huge?

Pop out a Parallel Lives and double all your tokens...Then to make it terribly evil - Followed Footsteps + Kozilek's Predator OR Emrakul's Hatcher

Unless you were going for Standard or Block... If thats the case, I'm an idiot for posting this...lol

I recently got sick of making God-Tier decks, because when i moved into a new state, nobody can even compete with my pathetic little decks that i made 5 years ago. So i started making decks that were just interesting...But since i havn't played with this one yet, What do you think of it? http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=372909
I only ask because you seem to have a Myr theme going and It looks interesting. But Why so few 1-Of? I mean for something like Myr Battlesphere, Why not keep 4 and trim it other places? (just curious)

I use Blighted Agent and Cranial Plating in my Artifactory. With just Blighted Agent + a Cranial Plating....that can SO quickly end up deadly.

You having Boseiju in play while the game is locked would i think cause someone to just Quit, rather than play out the now useless game of even hoping to defeat you.
