The focus is on Heroic triggers. To be able to activate Heroic Triggers as much as possible I utilize Strive. Strive's costs are reduced by utilizing Battlefield.Ephara's Enlightenment is used to bring a targeting spell back to you hand to continually use to activate Heroic.Tethmos is used, in combination with Ephara or Strive, to allow you to bring back creatures such as Phalanx Leader or Battlefield Thaumaturge to continue utilizing their bonus abilities.
Works best with Battlefield Thaumaturge & Sage of Hours on the field. Use Polymorphic Rush, if you can pay for it, to turn as many creatures into Agent of the Fates or other Heroic Trigger of your choice as possible.Play Launch the Fleet, if possible, to target all new Heroic for (1)P.If Phalanx Leader(s) are the copies, then you can get massive counters dropped on all creatures, which works really well if you have a Sage Of Hours on the field as well to remove the 5 +1/+1 counters for those extra turns. Not only possible, but highly probable.If Agent of the Fates is the choice and you have a lot of creatures selected, then by utilizing launch the same approach you can cause massive amounts of opponent sacs.This same effect can be used on Tethmos, to copy him as many times as possible, target him with Launch the Fleet and bring back as many 2 or lower cost creatures as you have copies..A nice side combo I do with Launch the Fleet is cast, attack, take losses, and then when opponent chooses to try and attack play Hour of Need and turn all the tapped 1/1 soldiers into untapped 4/4 flying. Nasty surprise to those who think they can get a shot in because you're "defenseless".Side Deck fun: Board wipes with Polymorphic's Jest and Bile Blight, just for fun ;).Aegis of the Gods for those who like to Burn your life directly with targeting spells.I know Realmwright is phasing out of Standard, and it makes me sad. That's the best card to make this truly work, since it allows you to turn your lands into the lands you need to make as much use of Strive Spells as possible.Elixir of Immortality to Recycle cards.
