Please comment!!! I plan for this to be my primary deck, and I want to try for Tournaments with this deck. So this deck was built around Nicol Bolas. I wanted to get plenty of draw cards to get to him quickly, with Reilquary tower to keep me from having to worry about drawing too much. I also wanted an essence of mill and burn as default wins in case I have a hard time getting to Nicol Bolas. So main focuses and alternate wins: mill/draw/get Bolas Alt win: burn and unblockable attacks Alt win: Mill opponents deck At the moment, I have no cards in my Sideboard either, and I'm up for suggestions. UPDATE: Eliminated the mill aspect, it seemed too out of place for this deck. I also increased some of the burn and draw aspects of the deck, and rebalanced the lands to work more consistently with the sample draws.

It's nice to get Nicol Bolas out but you don't really need to rush finding him unless you've got a way to get him down before you reach 8 mana which you can't do before turn 8. Once he is down you'll need to keep him alive for long enough to make him ultimate. Right now it sounds like you're trying to pull your deck in too many different directions. If I was to design a deck around Nicol Bolas I would make it a control deck with artifact assistance so I don't need to worry too much about the mana issues. Anything that wants to have a possible win condition through aggression should not have Nicol Bolas

Ok I updated it. Having pure control has never been a play style I've been able to get into, so I still kept it with a strong burn aspect, but I focused it more on burn/draw, and with some mana finding artifacts. I also added sleep and increased the number of "Fog Bank" as an added defense for Bolas, plus I also have a number of bigger creatures to keep pressure on my opponent and also guard Bolas. So now it's pretty much a burn/draw deck, with a little control and Nicol Bolas. As for artifact assistance, what cards should I use? I want to keep everything in the deck inside of the Innistrad/M13 block.
