Deck Description

Use the Brood spawn as your own personal Swiss army knives. Mana Acceleration, Quick direct damage (via Raid bombardment), or pumping up mortician beetle or the Bloodthrone (or both). Attack early and clear the path for fast, quick, and hard attacks from your bloodthrone vampire or mortician beetle.

You can easily change the way this deck runs by switching out cards from the sideboard, Act of treason gives you a way to get rid of your opponents creatures and/or attack with them, Virulent swipe is a good way of clearing a nice path with the deterrent of deathtouch, even put it on your vampire nighthawk to give a boost to the lifelink's effect. The Goblin Tunnelers are a good way of giving bloodthrone a clear attack path, just make it unblockable and then pump it up by sacrificing Spawn tokens before damage is dealt.

The blood seekers are just in there in case you run into a spawn deck, it turns everything that would normally give an opponent some advantage and give it some negative effects.

Emrakul is also in there to cover against milling, If you do happen to draw it, you can usually get it out fairly quickly and equally quickly cut down an opponents resources (opening him up for a kill before he can get rid of your library)

Deck discussion for Hellspawn

wow, and i have most of these cards to... I guess what i know what I'm doing tonight >:P

with all these +1/+1 counters in play, have you thought of putting in a rage forger?
"when Rage Forger comes into play put a +1/+1 counter on each other shaman you control"
(for your pawn of ulamog and Blood Seeker)
"when a creature with a +1/+1 counter attacks you may have that creature deal 1 damage to target player"

I use him alot, mainly cause i have a shaman deck ---> http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=148280
