This is a list of my favorite cards. No real order, rhyme, or reason. I generally don't like ridiculously over-powered cards. but I do like fun/interesting ones that inspire deck builds. Many of the cards here have inspired me as such. Write in the comments if you have a card you like a lot. I'll add it to the sideboard-- multiples if multiple people comment. Then we can figure out which weird cards are really popular.My favorite cards also have a pretty nice mana curve. How about that?

My favorite card is Lotus Petal. So many options if you draw this and a land on turn 1.Two lightning bolts on the first time, ouch.Counterspell on the first time, cool.Two 1/1 Weenie creatures on the first turn, yep.Two discard spells on the first turn, nice.

One of my favorite cards is Phyrexian Obliterator. He's so amazing and problematic.5/5 for 4 totalTrampleAND when you do damage to him, you have to sacrifice permanents!He's awesome
Oi vey. I can't tell you how much I despise that card, and I have never even played with him. Still, to the sideboard it goes!
I have a 1st place tie.'Karn, Silver Golem' : He animates artifacts, so that it disrupts activated abilities or hoses any 0-drop artifact. Pretty powerful in Vintage ;)Also 'Ensnaring Bridge' (Stronghold Edition) again disruption of the highest caliber. Emrakul? No. Griselbrand? No. I like to think it´s the Grumpy Cat of magic, hehe
Karn has a very interesting effect. And I like the flavor of Ensnaring Bridge, even if it is a bit ridiculous. Thanks for sharing!

Like Dredge? Or Necro deck? Dredge is very powerful right now. I am 30 years old, and got my ass handed to me by a 15 year old playing a Dredge deck.
Recurring Nightmare is a neat card. Maybe you could add it.
