Yes, yes, but is that truly a problem? I can hit with brooding stars soon quick with lots of other cards, yes?

1
Posted 02 December 2013 at 02:03

the real problem is that you have no artifacts... in order for the Broodstar to be of any use as an attacker... you need the artifacts.... otherwise it will fizzle as soon as you drop it on the table because it will hit as a 0/0... and a creature with 0 toughness goes directly to the graveyard

Artifacts are no good for deck. They do not be good with great power of deck. swb34 does not understand how Brooding star does work in deck. Deck very good. Yes. I make best deck there is. Better than any deck can anyone else make. I make any deck out of any card. Blue card best, but I can deck make win yes.

Hilarious. Best theme deck ever^^
I searched for a card that could represent the obligatory puke-bucket where your fuglies could barf into but didn't find much. Chalice of Life looks like someone is about to chuck up but the chalice itself and the name of the card don't really fit.

Stench of Evil should be in this for sure :) (probably fits better than Breath of Malfegor)

With some adjustments to the mana base the deck would at least be playable. Replace some Islands with swamps and any kind of blue-black duallands. Then add some rainbowlands like City of Brass.

1
Posted 02 December 2013 at 13:04

Thank you for multiple suggestion! But why you no like Island? You do not like blue magics?

0
Posted 02 December 2013 at 15:38

I said replace SOME of them. So, you know, can actually play those non-blue cards.
If, on the other hand, you don't plan to play it anyway, why bother with lands at all? We could get rid of lands alltogether and add more cards fitting the theme.

1
Posted 02 December 2013 at 15:52

But then you no have blue magics, and blue magics be very good, yes? What cards of power do you suggest?

alackofreason:
That's just pure art!

I can suggest helm of awakening, and the oldest card in the theme chaos orb (How could you miss that!!!)

But why not try to make some hybrids of your own work?

Take one half from the aquarium and half of the throw-up, mix them together and you got "aquarium throwup"
(Sickening shoal sort of binds these two halves together!)

A small group of players are trying to build half decks! (aka 30 card decks)
The general idea is to build a deckhalf with a theme so solid that it fits almost any other halfdeck you could think of throwing it into.
But most cannot embrace the full concept of it all, and chose to build a manabase fitting their own themes!
I've made it my own task to split up clasical legacy-decks in two halves, and it's sort of an artform to split them in a way so that they are equally powerfull.

We could need some more "artistery" to bring the concept some "designer beauty"

Here's the concept primer:

Looks interesting. I'll see what I can do. I'll only make halfdecks that are in a budget range though-- something I could afford.

0
Posted 04 December 2013 at 18:04

That's no problem. The nature of halfdecks favours aggro decks which are usually cheaper to build. Also, goal of the project is to come up with new combinations that you wouldn't think of when building a deck the conventional way. If you are on a budget, you contribute to the diversity.
