Deck Description

Ub death's shadow tempo

How to Play

Its best to open with probe if you can, that way you know whether to drop a delver, or open with discard, or wait to stifle their land. use wasteland and sinkhole, alongside stifle, to wreck your opponents mana. Get a beater out, keep him alive with your disruption long enough to swing in a few times for the kill

chill is sideboard tech against burn, which is the worst match for this deck. if you can stick an early chill there's pretty much no hope for them.

Deck discussion for legacy death's shadow

Perhaps cabal therapy would have some nice synergy with snapcaster and reanimate? Works excellently with a turn one Gitaxian Probe as well. Instead of duress? Which I'm guessing that's mainly for Sneak and Show/ Omniscience etc.

i could see cabal therapy being pretty powerful. and yeah, it works amazingly with probe. thnx for the suggestion!

duress is in there for combo decks like you suggested. but it also hits counterspells, and most importantly, it hits opposing removal.

Cabal therapy could be very nice, but thoughtsieze feeds the shadow. Phyrexian obliterator could do some serious damage here as well. a one of MAYBE. Perhaps volraths stronghold would fit in here as a one of as well

i could see taking out a tombstalker for a obliterator. with all the land disruption i could prolly just stall them out long enough to play it. i have always been on the fence about running more than 2 tombstalker, but nothing else is as powerful for only 2 mana. that being said there has been times iv top decked an unplayable tombstalker and thats never fun.

volraths stronghold is an interesting suggestion that could be pretty great. running only 11 threats can be a lil frustrating sometimes. stronghold might be able to help me fight through removal.

thanks for the suggestions!!

If you still seek to improve this deck, I can recommend to use wall of blood an ragged veins in it.

The wall will make it possible for your death to see play, and if they block your death use the vein.

If you are sure they haven't got removal or disruption, then wait for their attack, pump everything into the bloodwall except 1 life, then hit their critter with ragged veins and block!
