Ok, So I've been wanting to make a working deck with knowledge pool. And one of the combo's that's been discussed is the knowledge pool + Sphinx-Bone Wand, casting an instant/sorcery, and then fetching another instant/sorcery via knowledge pool, causing Sphinx bone wand to trigger 2 times. the first time will do 1 damage, the second time will do 2 damage. Meaning, I will eventually be doing more damage than a red deck in the color blue just by casting draw and counterspells. Then, I decided Proliferate would make a great addition to this, and added contagion engine, as well as Tezzeret's Gambit from the new set. With scry and draw cards like preordain, ponder, and gitaxian probe as well as Halimar depths, I think I'll be able to cycle through my deck fast enough to get out the combo needed. And I can reset my instants and sorceries with Time Reversal so that I can continue to counter and keep my combo going. Couple that with the fact that knowledge pool can really mess up a player's game plan who is not prepared to play against it, I think I will have the advantage at least 70% of the time. As removing a knowledge pool, requires either a really lucky knowledge pool, or that you play two spells to cast the one you want.
