Deck Description

Creature and instant's to create combos. Draw card for better chances at drawing the card I want, as well as following Niv's ability. Small amount of burn spells. Izzet was the first base deck I pulled. I'm now realizing that balancing red and blue is difficult for an amateur; however, I find the mix interesting and I feel that if I can balance this deck well, then it will be quite effective.

How to Play

This is my attempt to balance a red-blue Izzet deck. I'm focusing on fulfilling Niv's abilities with the draw card instants. Because this is a blue deck, I need more cancel's and counters in order to control my opponent. The presence of my creatures are primarily for their abilities to be used with instant's. However, with exception to the Shrewd Hatchling.

Deck discussion for Slurm

I'm in desperate need of some help with this deck. It's my main. I recently decreased the card amount from the mid 90's to 67. Still feel like I can substitute some cards, as well as remove what is just filling up space. Prefer to keep the 40% land. Open to all questions, comments and criticisms. Thank you
