When I first read about the strengths and weaknesses of the colors, I noticed that while White was good at keeping your life up, it didn't have many strong creatures. Red has strong creatures, but isn't good at defending. Their weakness is the other's strength.
I try to get Mana and creatures onto the field quickly. all while using cards like craterize to slow down my opponent . One of the cards' (Crusader of Odric) attack and defense power vary on how many creatures you control, so I try to keep that card in my hand until later on. Once I have enough creatures on the field, I attack my opponent as much as possible. White creatures have lifelink, which adds to my life, and the Red creatures have haste. Once I've knocked my opponent's life down, I can use my instants. I use pacifism to take out their top creatures, and I used cards like Searing Spear and Chandra's Fury to drastically reduce it.
