Deck Description

Utilize fast-paced combos with the opportune Morbid mechanic to waste your opponent's armies, draw quickly, and grow monstrous creatures with my Red/Green Innistrad deck.

How to Play

Get into the mindset of what a short sprint means. This deck wants to play cards early and in growing escalation. You should be able to pull off multiple combos riding off the death of a single creature.

Send out Young Wolf or Somberwald Vigilante early and waste something quick. Give them an edge/early sentence with Furor of the Bitten. You want the opponent(s) to save their skin by dropping their blockers on your climbing assaults. The enchantments Triumph of Ferocity and Curse of Stalked Prey will only help you if the enemy is dry on creatures.

Use Dawntreader Elk and Caravan Vigil to empty your deck of lands. There are a few big creatures that shouldn't wait till turn six to see the battlefield (Gravetiller Wurm and Charmbreaker Devils). If you are lucky, open with a hand of 2 Caravan Vigils. Sacrifice your Elk or play Vexing Devil (bet your opponent will opt to sacrifice) or send a Wolf to its death. With at least one open forest, that loss can cause a chain of Caravan Vigils which will empty multiple lands from your deck to your battlefield. This deck wants to get as much out of every turn it can. No stalling, no drawing out the game and no building an army for a sweep.

Don't bother coveting cheap instants and sorceries in your hand. At earliest convenience lay Howl of the Hungerpack on a revived Young Wolf, Reclaim the creature-killed Somberwald Sage, Dangerous Wager when you are short on cards and Traitorous Blood on the 2nd biggest threat. This deck empties out fast, and Charmbreaker Devils will return your spells steadily.

Boneyard Wurm and Gravetiller Wurm are final curtain monsters, but if you play right, they won't have fought as hard or been as powerful as the Young Wolves and Vexing Devils had been.

TL;DR
Draw blood.
