Your big move here is getting Countryside Crusher out ASAP. You can pretty reliably get one on turn 3, and ideally do it via sacing a Blizzard-Herder or Emissary to Eldritch Evolution. The crusher himself is a weird mixed bag that kills your chance of seeing any more land but trades for guaranteed spells and a gigantic beater.
