Deck Description

This is my entry for Dedwards Deck Challenge: First Descendants

I am focusing on the Red cards and found that, with the rules imposed, it is very hard for you to make a drawing engine with red.

So I came up with this little combo:

BrowBeat as an easy card gainer but instead of using it on myself I'd target my opponent, but still it wouldn't be much fun just giving him/her cards and I suffer for it.

So I thought of using Moonring Mirror as an easy donation, use Bazaar Trader, to their efforts making all cards drawn forced out of game until their upkeep.

I wanted to be a little harsher and said why not use Eon Hub to remove the upkeep entirely and why not also use Barbed Shocker to make them powerless.

Finally you could always use Goblin Welder to swap Eon Hub for another artifact at the end of their turn and let them have it with Adamaro's Gaze or even Molten Psyche.

The rest of the cards are there to help me along to achieve my goals, especially Pyrite Spellbomb and Mindmoil. The sideboard is also well focused on the deck theme of making your opponent draw like crazy.

Special thanks goes to Dedwards for the card suggestions.

This is Anon phasing out... for now.

Deck discussion for Adamaro's Desire

Add panic spell bomb, that was a really good deck rusher for me, and fetch lands like arid mesa and scalding tarn will accelerate the deck even further by reducing the likeliness of you getting lands cards and more likely to get those good red cards in.

I think you misinterpret brow beat actually, you just cast it, and then a player decides to take it or not, if no one wants to take five damage, then you draw three since you cast it, it targets no one technically, so put it in :P

I think you misunderstood my intentions LightningRing. The goal for this challenge was to use two specific cards in this case: Adamaro, First to Desire and Gaze of Adamaro. Both these cards require your opponent to have a lot of cards in their hand.

Browbeat, has to have a target for the second stage of its effect and in this case I am targeting my opponent. This increases their hand size by a small margin.

I thank you for the other suggestions and will look into them when I can.

Brow Beat is an awesome win / win card and works well here. Either the opponent takes 5 damage (win) or he draws 3 cards to be burnt later by Gaze of Adamaro (win) :p

I like. Can't see where to improve without play testing and I unfortunately don't have a lot of these cards :(
