True but this is a type 2 legal deck, at least until the next block comes out because I haven't used any tenth edition cards.

Mossbridge Troll IS type 2 legal. Unless of course you are making this deck for after the next block comes out, but M10 will have all new rules and will be silly anyway. This deck may not be as effective then.

Type 2, as I understand it, is the last 3 blocks (Shards, Conflux, Reborn) and the last core set, this deck does not include any core cards so it will still be legal until Zendikar, also the new rules dont really affect any of these cards aside from the possibility of throwing in another Keeper of Progenitus due to the lack of mana burn. Also, Mossbridge troll requires that you tap creatures with a total power of ten but with this deck chances are that would only be one creature and with cradle of vitality if you control a creature with a power of 10 or greater Mayael's Aria makes it a 20+ creature before it checks for a power of 20. Mossbridge Troll would be nice with Mayael's Aria in an extended or vintage deck but this deck is designed to stay legal as long as possible, perhaps it would be worth it when Zendikar comes out, thanks for the input though.

the mossbridge troll will be type 2 legal 4 awhile yet type 2 is last 3 blocks (lorwyn, shadowmoor, shards, and 10th blocks) each block has multiple sets lorwyn block is lorwyn and morningtide. shadowmoor block is shadowmoor and eventide. and shards block which is shards conflux and reborn. so go ahead and use the troll haha

Sorry dude, but everyone else is right. Mossbridge Troll is a Shadowmoor card and Type 2 legal is the last 2 BLOCKS plus the last core set. The most recent coreset is Magic 2010, and the last 2 blocks are the Alara block (which contains Shards of Alara, Conflux, and Alara Reborn) and the Lorwyn block (which contains Lorwyn, Eventide, Morningtide, and Shadowmoor). Once Zendikar comes out in October, the Lorwyn BLOCK will be cycled out as the Zendikar block is cycled in. But until then, Lorwyn block is Type 2 legal. Also, Type 2 = Standard. In case that confused you too, it did that to me for awhile.

And, if you control a creature of power 10 or greater, you can tap it as an instant BEFORE the Aria checks the field for a 20+ creature; whereas you'd have to wait another turn if you just used the Cradle + Aria.
