Deck Description

This deck was designed with the hope of applying use to a few Bant rares that don't see much use, namely Stoic Angel, Jenara, Asura of War, and Wargate. This deck does have some lethal potential though:
Turn 1: Forest, Noble Hierarch
Turn 2: Non-Forest Land, Jenara, Asura of War.
Turn 3: Land, Rafiq of the Many; Swing with Jenara for 12 flying
Turn 4: Land, Finest Hour; Swing with Jenara for 14 and then 14 again (flying)
Conclusion: 40 Flying damage by turn 4, should be a nasty deck in any game but it should be especialy entertaining in multi-player.

Deck discussion for Ode' to the Forgotten

if your deck is based on asura, rafiq, and finest hour.... should you have 4 of each then?

I like it. Looks like it would play it even with an imperfect hand. I mean droppin turn 1 akrasan, turn 2 noble/akrasan or qasali is still strong. I'm a big fan of bant; I think it is fairly underestimated and has more potential than others let on for it. I'm workin on my own Bant Exalted deck (obviously not the one you graciously commented on) using Cudgel Trolls to regenerate or Phantom Warriors to take the exalted damage straight to the opposition :P
