first of all, thx to tuba- hero for the inspiration regarding the heartless summoning (HS) combo http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=293829 the deck is really looking great, but ild like to build a HS deck that does not only depend on the lich himself and counter spells. for me personally a fast human deck a friend of mine is playing is just pain in the ass, with mirran crusader, honor of the pure... So i tried to implement a few combos by addition of white as a color and to make the deck more creature based. - blade splicer: if there s no HS on the field it provides defense with a 3/3 first strike token. with HS costs it costs a W mana and gives a 2/2 token - mentor of the meek: with HS it only costs only a W mana. in combination with blade splicer only it allows to draw 1 card, with HS and blade splicer it gives you the opportunity to draw 2 cards (for the 0/0 splicer, and 2/2 golem). - skirsdag priest: costs a B mana. if played with blade splicer 1 creature directly goes to ghe GY and the morbid ability can be used. - Perilous myr: shock (with havengul lich) and block - Havengul lich: myr -> shock, splicer -> token. use skirsdag to get demons. et cetera mayb a sun titan? costs less with HS, recovers splicers, mentors, skirsdag priest myr. so far this is only an idea with a preliminary deck list (for instance no mana curve and land adaption) let me know what you think about it :) feel free to comment.
