Liliana's Caress, Megrim, Liliana's +1, Jace's +2, Howling Mines, Temple Bells..... Hmm. Let's take a look. The 2 enchantments deal damage/loss of life when opponents have to discard, right? Mmk. And Liliana herself can force a discard, right? Also, what's max hand size for most people? 7. Jace, Mines, and Bells all serve to keep their hand full and discarding 2-3 cards per turn, taking (we'll assume 2 of the enchants for giggles) 8-12 damage per turn. This is a multiplayer, casual deck. I will agree that Circu doesn't serve a huge purpose here, but damn he's fun, and he will prevent them from playing a few spells here and there. I can swap the spellbooks for Reliquary Tower or something, but it still boils down to the same thing. I suppose Leylines are required, they're just fun is all. I like Tidehollow, he's an excellent blocker is what he's there for. I'll look at other irritating options for blockers. Fog Bank is amusing, etc.

Lol thanks. I had to stop playing for about 3 months because of USAF basic training, so forgive me. I'm just trying to show her what she should be doing, that's all.

Let's fix your land first. Drop llanowar wastes. You don't need painlands. Woodland Cemetery instead. I'll come back to the idea about fetchlands in a sec (Verdant Catacombs is what you'll use instead). http://www.cardkingdom.com/catalog/item/185549 that's woodland
Lets add dryad arbors and green sun zenith for lolz and awesome. Fix them mana problems real quick. Elvish archdruids also. For great justice. Hell, search Elvish archdruid on car kingdom, click the m10 one for some good ideas. Too many to list right this moment for me.

... Hate to say it bro, but Altar of the Lost doesn't belong in there. At all. There's nothing you're flashing back. You need to up your land count to, at a minimum, 22. I'd recommend 24 honestly. Get Moan of the Unhallowed and Reap the Seagraf in here in some form. Yes they have flashback, but just pay the full cost. Don't use an arty like that that's so specific unless your entire deck is based on flashing stuff back from grave. Try to get ahold of 2 more Gravecrawlers. Absolutely dumb card. It's the new Bloodghast. I'm also not a huge fan of Highborn Ghoul. We'll see if we can find something better to replace it w/. Undying Evil is fine, but you need Doom Blades or Go for the Throat. Kinda have to be running those spells in standard. Tragic Slip isn't too bad if you don't want Dismember.

Same walker suggestion as on your other deck. Drop Archon for another of each walker. I probably wouldn't use Angelic Destiny in this build. That gives you room for another of each sword, or 2 feast/famine and 2 war/peace, and 4 Spectral Rider. You may look into Contested Warzone as a 2 or 4 of, depending on whether you see the need for Ghost Quarter to control your opponents non basic lands any. It's pretty useful, get some extra damage in.

She doesn't play Magic, but she's willing to learn. She's always had a thing for angels, and looky there, it's a creature type. Hot damn. I'm going to tool around w/ this some, proxy it, and make some more changes before I buy cards, but I would like her to play, and even if she only does every once in awhile, I had thought about doing an angel deck some time ago and see what I could do w/ it. I really like Hunting Grounds, so I'm guessing I'd need to put some stuff in the grave. May change to Harrow to help facilitate that, maybe put some small creatures in or other spells to help have a grave to Grounds from. It's a pretty bullshit card, so yeah.

I'm just iffy about Manic. I am more likely to have 3 or 4 mana available prior to casting Crush, vs 6 to cast Manic and expect it to resolve. I realize the tempo advantage, I understand that. It's a red Gatekeeper that hits arty instead of creatures. Honestly, I'm playtesting it, and Crush works for me. It's effective and does it at instant speed. I can smash Batterskull anytime I want to, and that's if I can't Duress it out of hand. I will try Manic also, and see if I prefer him. I just don't know yet.

Terramorphic Expanse isn't helping you out. You don't need to fix any colors, just run swamps. Drop expanse and wilds, you'll be fine. Lands coming in tapped like that just aren't going to help you that much.

I appreciate the input, I really do, but I have little desire to worship 60 cards as the only possible solution to a Magic: The Gathering deck. I play very little one on one, but I'm proud of how this runs. Dropping DDoG for Sheoldred wasn't easy for me. I LOVE DDoG. Fucking fantastic card. Just expensive as all hell. The decks I post up here, I own. I only proxy for testing purposes and/or until the cards I put in the deck are physically in my possession. I will take those notes into consideration, but I enjoy having an ungodly amount of removal in my deck. My opponents don't have creatures. There's nothing there. I'm busy letting them think they can swing and tap a lil mana and oh look, creature never even made it to the block step.

I know Coffers is sometimes a dead card, but not always. Most games I play last long enough that unless I'm retardedly mana screwed, I'm getting a min of 4 or 5 mana for tapping a Coffer bare minimum. I run Sheoldred now because I no longer need Disentomb or Cadaver Imp (1/1 flying Gravedigger from Eldrazi set :D), and she's board control like a bitch. Again, fantastic.

And believe me, if/when I get more Obliterators in my possession, this is where they go. I'll dump them straight in. Bullshit card, and I can turn 2 it, no problem. If I decide I really want to keep this at 70, I could drop Bad Moon, possibly Dread too. I treat Dread like a 3rd Grave Titan. 6/6 for 6, a couple awesome abilities, big fucking problem for my opponents. FYI, giving a player deathtouch is awesome. :D

You have 30 creatures. It wouldn't be hard to do the Quest. Not hardly. However, WW Quest decks use Kor Skyfisher to bounce stuff (lol, Memnites and Roflcopters) to get a retarded number of counters on Quest, sac it whenever they feel like it and fetch Argentum Armor and swing for stupid damage and blow up a permanent. Your focus is a bit different though. You could probably do w/o them really. It's redundancy. This is more casual than tournament focused, based on what I see. You''re not ramping mana. Plat Angel costs a bit much if you just play 1 land a turn. Myr aren't helping that much to speed it up. They get hit alot. Indomitable is good, you'll have metalcraft out the ass. Make sure you put in Dispatch after tomorrow's release. Type 2 Path to Exile/Swords to Plowshare, no downside other than you need metalcraft for it. Fucking fantastic.

If you want to use Emerge, consider Apostle's Blessing so you can have pro artifacts too. If you only need pro color, Emerge is fine. I wasn't thinking very hard when I said to change to Vapor Snag. Duh, you wanna play Venerated again lol. Stupid me.

Consider picking a couple of the 2 of's and running a playset or so. Get the stuff you really want. Just a suggestion. You might also consider Kabira Vindicator. Lvl him, your creatures get bigger. Pretty beast.

I proxied half the spells in this deck for awhile lol. I have everything for it now. Other than mods when New Phrexia releases. I'm thinking playset Trinket Mages and one of that indestructible 0 cost artifact. Prevents Naturalizing my Shape target and provides some redundancy for consistency. It might be fast enough tournament wise if I had a decent way to search for Shape, after those mods. Probably not, but honestly, getting the artifact I need out and then sitting on it and manipulating my deck and countering seems to work ok. Again, it's a fun deck. This isn't really going to see widespread tournament play, it's a bit cumbersome and relies on Shape to work. If that's countered or otherwise stopped (Naturalize, Nature's Claim) on say a Myr or whatever, that's game. Takes too long to hit a 2nd Shape. If I have both MC and Shape opening hand, then it's fine. Otherwise, can take too long.

Daru Warchief. Broken like you wouldn't believe. All soliders get Holy Str? Really? And cost 1 colorless less? Bullshit. Playing Capt of the Watch for 5 or less is retarded (but so, so good).

Tossing Whispersilk and Darksteel Plate would take it to 60. I don't find those absolutely necessary, but they are useful cards.

You don't need Whispersilk that desperately, and I don't think Frostwind Invoker will ever see use. Highly recommend a full playset of Glacial Fortress. Seachrome as much or as little as you want. Ikal Outrider is expensive to lvl. And as soon as New Phrexia releases, immediately replace Unsummon w/ Vapor Snag. Same thing, but the controller of the creature you bounced loses 1 life.

Yeah, Inkmoth is another solution, but I don't want to spend alot of money on that particular card, especially when Phyrexian Rebirth will do the job when Master's Call can't be found. It's not a foolproof combo, not at all. This isn't Kuldotha Rebirth, where saccing is part of the cost. Shape can be countered by simply Naturalizing (or Shattering, etc etc) the Myr MC produces. This is an amusing deck, and I find it hilarious. It's entertaining to run, especially since most of what I do ends up being manipulating my deck and wait around and maybe counter something and hope my opponents target each other first and leave me alone to turn my deck upside down and stuff.

Psst, guess what I plan on adding to the deck. ;)

Elesh Norn is a bullshit card. Absolute bullshit. All the Praetors all, but she's ungodly retarded. 2 Honor of the Pures for me, 1 Disfigure on a creature for you. Fuck off. Swing. Oh damn. You can't block. That's cool.

Running any artifact besides Blightsteel defeats the purpose. Shape Anew says reveal cards till you hit an artifact, not Tinker and search for what you want. Trust me, I'd have used Memnites and Ornithopers if Shape Anew read differently.

I appreciate the concern, but yeah, Master's Call is what I'm doing here for that. I don't want to spend the kind of money Inkmoth is going to cost, so I will look into Phyrexian Rebirth instead. I didn't realize it was indeed an artifact. Good board wipe, would save my ass. I will possibly get some of those, but I'm going to proxy until my spells come in (preordain, into the roil, see beyond, and glacial fortress) from cardkingdom and see how it runs. I feel that I have enough deck manipulation to do well enough. This deck is never going to see tournament play, it's just funny, and no one in the area I play is going to do something like this because it's absolutely retarded. I'll say it from the start: This is a stupid idea, and I'm building this deck because it's funny. This will work exactly once in a multi, and kill maybe 2 players. Maybe.

On the deck manipulation thing: Squad Hawks help thin my deck out some, Augury Owl is a decent scry 3, Preordain, Halimar Depths, etc. In theory, there's enough deck manip here that even when I draw into Blightsteel, I'll have See Beyond to shuffle him back in and I'm stacking my deck in the meantime. I'm going to pull my combo often enough, how I see it. This may be incredibly inefficient in practice. I won't know that until I play it. For this bullshit of a deck, the possibility of lethal turn 5 or 6 is hilarious, as far as I'm concerned.

I've also looked at the new stuff coming out. There's a 0 cost indestructible artifact. Put 1 of those in, 2 blightsteels, trinket mages, run it mono blue. 5 shots at getting that arti before drawing into blightsteel or something. Should be turn 3 or so, and w/ some other mods, it would probably be roughly tournament worthy.

Elspeth Tirel. Period. Not cheap, but goddamn is she amazing. <3 her. What I see you doing is the soul deck, attempting to run it type 2. It might do fine overall, but it's slower in lifegain that way. Much slower. Thankfully, the next set (New Phyrexia, a few spoilers are out. I have one from a tournament) has Suture Priest. 2 cost 1/1, when opponent drops a creature, you may have them lose 1 life (Blood Seeker) and when you drop a creature, you may gain 1 life (Leyline of Vitality). You'll be able to have 8 type 2 Souls in the deck then, that'll help tremendously. I'm not telling you it doesn't or won't work, but I just don't feel as it looks to me, it's terribly effective. Maybe it is. I just don't see it that way because you need both Warden and Attendant to guarantee you that turn 1 Soul, and perhaps Ranger of Eos to search for Souls and Serra Ascendents.
