Deck Description

My first attempt at a standard control deck. I decided to ditch the delver due to the rotation of ponder and the lack of support aside from runechanters pike. If there is any current meta ways of making him work, please comment below.

Aside from that, my main attempt was to take grasp of the game with multiple wincons and adaptation to multiple board states. I feel it may be a bit high mana, however.

Any comments and suggestions are extremely welcome, and please link your deck so I may comment back. Thanks!

Deck discussion for R/U New Standard

Not bad for a 1st try! :)

Don't use Devil's play, nor Think Twice... Both worthless... Think Twice is good, when U play multiple miracles, but not here...

Use only 3 Dissipates in the main deck, put Zealous in the sides(1-2 copies) & play some finishers, like Thundermaw Hellkite, or Niv...

Your style at making a 2-color deck's mana base in todayes standard matches mine completely... :))

Use 2-3 Cyclonic Rift & 3-4 Snapcaster total!..

Here is the deck I'm working on right now: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=393748

There R 3 of my decks at top decks... A selesnya, a Grixis & an Azorius... Check, if U R interested...

i think that a play-set of cyclonic rift would do you better than the devastation tides. also you only need one or two devil's play so if you can get some bonfire of the damned itd be a good replacement. i think dissipate might be better in the sideboard against zombie decks or scavenge decks
