Honestly, with my experience playing with and against Goblin deck, I find Æther Vial to slow down goblin decks.

Depends on how you use it. Playing with the Ports and waste give me some mana control so the vial become more usefull to me. You are right that it's does slow the deck, but for all the game it made me won I don't think there is a card that I could swap for it.
Randomly thought of something. Couldn't be part of this deck because it is mono red. But... Kiki-jiki+ goblin piledriver+ intuder alarm. I might look I to doing something with that. But I digress. Like the deck. How well has it performed for you?
Also, a good combo I have heard of is the sharpshooter with basilisk cooler, or anything that gives deathtouch.
Never tought of adding deathtouch could be fun in EDH. But for legacy im pretty sure it will slow the deck, thanks for the comments
new someone who had a death touch plinker deck based around it, and it was really powerful. although, I don't know the exact setup that he had. I just remember not wanting to play against it. :)
Why the single Sharpshooter?
Alot of people ask me the same question ;). He's usefull in alot of situation espacially against zoo deck were I need extra damage to take care of the KOTR, Wild Nacalt, Thermo... Also i do love the card it's my personnal twist to the deck with Kiki.

you could add warren instigator in here, which would double the lackey.
Instigator is not that good. He his way to slow but the double strike for the 2 goblins is fun. I play him in a more casual deck.
Nice deck Arvedin, I agree Cavern of the Souls is definately going to be used alot in all sorts of decks in the future. Thanks man, For your goblin B/R I like playing mad autie. I know she is slow but she's still giving the 1+1+. And nice for the U/R never tought of that. Playing with stanstill does seem really fun

No, it isn't. Its a huge part of two popular legacy decks, merfolk and goblins.
