Deck Description

Its easy to make an annoying mono-White deck... they usually take the form of pee-wee agro decks like Kithkin decks from Lorwyn or super-passive defensive and preventative decks.

Well when Timespiral came out I saw some cards that would work amazingly with others in my collection.

How to Play

I honestly have no idea why Sarpadian Empires Vol VII has no image attached to it but I think that is funny.

This deck is your typical bait and switch deck much like beast decks from Onslaught block. Sacrifice a few early turns with slow gameplay and hit the gass hard around turn 4. Eternal Dragon and it's Plainscycling ability speed the game up a lot when you consider you can return it to your hand and use the ability again.

Kjeldoran Gargoyle has been my main tool of staying alive in games because it is a First Striker with a built in Spirit Link it has managed to keep me alive and well many times over and its gains me double the damage dealt in life with the enchantment Noble Purpose in play since each instance of the triggered ability triggers separately.

Celestial Crusader existed in the deck to deal with those damned annoying "on the stack" combos. Sometimes I would see people come up with creative combos that rely on other spells or abilities existing on the stack... Split Second was and is in my mind a great mechanic and not to mention that Celestial crusader and Gauntlet of Power buffed up my creatures by a lot.

Jareth was my main blocker and Akroma was my main attacker. Crackdown is incredibly OP for an enchantment when facing a non-white deck. Word of Worship was there in case I was facing a heavy duty mill deck... eventually I could skip a draw step entirely if I wanted to... I remember I faced a mill deck once but the guy had no way to deal with my Words of Worship or deal damage to me... long story short 50 excruciatingly turns later the Mill deck milled it self and I won. LOL

Gaze of Justice becomes incredibly easy to use when utilizing Citizen tokens for its secondary cost couple that factor with the fact that you can use its Flashback ability beans you can Exile up to 8 annoying creatures over the course of a game for minimal drawbacks. Privileged Position coupled with True Believer shuts some decks down completely.
