Deck discussion for Army of Ants

Cool deck. Throw in a coat of arms to make an army of enormous ants instead of 1/1's.

um.....Infinite damage doesn't care if it's an infinate number of 1/1's, or infinate number of infinity/infinity creatures. Dead is dead. Thx though.

why not try canopy covers instead of vines of vastwood, since its the same cost of mana however the difference is the +4/+4 that will be given when it is kicked, but still with canopy covers it doesnt end at ur turn. and only creatures with flying or with reach will be able to block it.. but as i see it the queen ant is to produce insects from the start right, so u wont be using it to attack yet...

just a suggestion dude hehe but still like the idea of letting the allies pitch in for the mana...

Harabaz Druid + Crab Umbra + 3 other Allies = Infinate mana. There are better ways to do it, but this is Standard Format.

it would actually be four allies and it would only be infinite BLUE mana.... a better card would be Pemmin's Aura (it does the same thing as crab umbra but it's activation is only one blue) but I do like the concept plus with the 4 copies of the druid and 4 Shapeshifters it should run really well (you may want to consider rite of replication and/or clone as well)

24 lands in a 60 card deck designed to create infinite mana is a bit extreme. 20 would be plenty, so why not grab 4 copies of another ally? Umara Raptor would be a good option, seeing as how this deck doesn't have flying.
