Deck Description

Crunch, Smash, Burn. Simple.

How to Play

Turn one, you're looking for either Loam Lion or Kird Ape, which are basically the same creature. If you have either Temple Garden/Loam Lion or Kird Ape/Stomping Ground, then great start for the first turn. This creature will start out as a 2/3 and swing for two on your second turn. Second turn, if you didn't get one of them duals, you more than likely at least have a forest in general to lay. Play the forest and follow up with either a Watchwolf or second Loam Lion/Kird Ape. Begin to swing away. Turn three, you should have at least 4 potential damage or 5 potential damage on the field to attack (on average), with three mana now on the field (provided the overload of 24 mana for this cheap deck), you will have the option of Char, Skyknight Legionnaire or perhaps Call of the Herd. The Skyknight would be the best option as it has haste and then turns either 4 or 5 combat damage for turn three into 6 or 7 combat damage. With a shot of two on the second turn, and 6 to 7 on the third turn, your opponent should be dropped to 11 or 12 life. If you went first, you've drawn two cards, played 6 (lands and creatures) leaving you with three cards in hand. Potential burn in your hand at this stage (best case) Char, Lightning Helix or Lightning Bolt for a combined damage total of 10. Turn four, if they've played a ground walker to block at this stage, don't fret, burn it away with one of your three burn spells (if they are indeed burn spells and not land or creatures) and swing for yet another 8-9 damage. This drops their life total to either 3 or 4. The fifth turn (on average) is usually the crucial moment. If your opponent is at 3 or 4 life then finishing them off will be pie unless Day of Judgment or Countermagic has come into the equation. However, given the possibility that you have potentially 4-5 lands in play and two possible burn spells, your opponent may be able to only counter one burn spell. This doesn't bode well for their chances and puts you in a great place to snatch victory quickly. There's nothing else to say on this. lol.
