splash black for Demonic Tutor/sign in blood/the like or blue for some cheap card draw and add more mana ramp to get those Quicksilver Amulets and Grimoires out onto the battlefield faster. Make the ramp like llanowar elves or other cheap creatures who can also take some hits while youre building up.
