28 lands is a bit too much.. reduce it to around 24 or 25 and try adding caravan vigil and llanowar elf to increase the speed of it.. other than that, i like the concept of this deck.

I play a similar Kuldotha Goblin deck, and i agree with the previous comment, phoenix and chandra is not really necessary there. if you do want something similar to chandra's ability, i would recommend reverberate, it's more versatile and can often deal with your opponent's counter spells.. another thing is contested war zones helps as well.. take a look at my Kuldotha Goblins:

why not Ichorclaw Myr instead of cystbearer? it's a 2drop so it probably can get into field 1 turn earlier compare to cyst.. unblock Ichorclaw= at least 1 dmg.. if your opponent thinks they can block just to save themselves, reveal Unnatural Predation + whatever pump spells you might have and they'll still end up with poison counters. i play an semi-control infect deck as well, and am still making changes to it, please take a look:

if you reach middle game, that means your opponents will most probably be superior in terms of creatures on the board.. so you can only rely on proliferate.. generally, if i can't win by t3/4 with my monogreen infect, i'll proliferate my way to a win.. which is why tezzeret is there as well.. during mid game, you'll need additional options.. i'll be posting up my green infect soon.. please take a look as well.

Generally, I don't think green should worry too much about opponent's creature aggro, just focus on getting you huge beasts out on the field.. the one thing dungrove elder lacks is the trample ability.. unnatural predation for instant trample can be good.. though i can't think of anything better for now..

for sideboard, you might want autumn's veil, rites of flourishing, asceticism and fog. these are just a few options..

I would try putting in a couple of gut shot to charge up the counters on ascension.. and like the previous comment say, with no creatures, you might open to aggro decks(can be countered with pyroclasm).. most of your burn spells are single target, without ascension, you don't really have an alternate option.

take a look at my aggresive creature-based red deck:

I would sideboard 2acidic slime,2 naturalize and add in 4 caravan vigil as acidic slime and naturalize are situational.. then lose the isolation cell and add in viridian emissary as the isolation cell has no synergy here.. you want the dungrove elder to enter the battlefield with maximum power..

when you have the time, please take a look and comment on my deck as well:

My suggestion: -4 glint hawk, sideboard the dismember and put in 4flayer husk and 2 rally the peasants and 2 immolating souleater.. Immolating souleater will very often give you the last few points of damage you need.. just my opinion though.. =)

when you have time, do drop by and take a look at my Post Innistrad Standard Red that i'll be bringing to FNM as well:

I would add a playset of tezzeret's gambit by swapping out corpse cur and contagion engine... they're both too slow.. infect decks should win as fast as possible.

it depends, it's more versatile than it seems and has more than 1 possible win condition.. moltensteel, furyborn, wurmcoil and hero of oxid ridge are devastator end-gamers.. just need to make sure it stays in play long enough.. reverberate and mental misstep can help with that.

I would put a full playset of inkmoth nexus.. maybe put in a couple of phyrexian obliterator if you can as well. but all in all, a rather good monoblack infect.

Please take a look at my mono-red deck:
