Deck Description

I wanted to make a Mono Green Infect deck. The aim of the deck? Simple: 10 poison counters in a max of 4 turns. The basic idea behind this is to pump up your 1/1 infect creatures and rush to victory.

Basic Win Condition:
Turn 1 - Forest + Glistener Elf
Turn 2 - Forest + Attack with Glistener Elf, no block? Pump It (if you have 2 groundswells and a mutagenic growth thats an instant GG if not opponent is at 6 or 7 poison counters already.
Turn 3 - Forest + Add another infect creature + Repeat attack and pump.

The main flaw, I guess, would be playing vs. a control deck though hopefully players won't see much of a threat in a 1/1 infect creature and will rather use its cancel spells later on.

Anyway. Feedback is welcome!

Deck discussion for Are you in a hurry? This is the Infect Deck you need

I like this a lot. Small fast and furious. Unnatural Predation seems a weak choice. Untamed might or Primal Bellow might be stronger. I might also consider Tangle Angler for creature control and too clear the path. Good deck.

I forgot to ask you if you I should put Garruk into the deck?

Hmmf.

The unnatural predation was for the trample and to be used in addition to groundswell or unnatural predation in case I'm facing a deck with a lot of creatures.

The Tangle Angler seems cool though its a 4 mana cost and the point is winning before you get that amount of mana on the field.
I removed primal bellow in favor of unnatural predation. I'll sideboard it because it's true that it's a better pump card overall.

Thx for the comment =)

I run a similar version of this deck and I've had turn 5 victories. You do need an excellent opening hand though. For me the killer is Phyrexian Hydra which you can have out by turn 3.

Turn 1: Forest + Llanowar Elves
Turn 2: Forest + Plague Myr
Turn 3: Forest + Phyerxian Hydra
Turn 4: Attack if unblocked use pump spells for Plague Myr or Phyrexian Hydra (I have dropped a Contagion Clasp here to kill an extra blocker)
Turn 5: do the above again :)

I like your deck, I will make this one too and play test it. Good luck with it!

Phyrexian Hydra in turn 3 would be AWESOME! But it's an insta target for all kinds of spells. If I have Vines of Vastwood in my hand it can be freaking amazing though. You're right about the starting hand: it's gotta be damn good.
My plan was this:

Turn 1: Forest + Llanowar Elves (tap for 1 mana) + Glistener Elf.
Turn 2: Forest + Llanowar Elves + Attack with Glistener Elf and hopefully opponent won't block coz it's a 1/1 --> PUMP IT.
Turn 3: Forest + Cystbearer or some such

I like the Contagion Clasp idea. With Llanowar elves it can be used to proliferate but I'm not too keen on using it. I wanted to make a 100% creature based deck.
I think I'll remove Cystbearer and go for the Hydra. I'll remove Ichorclaw Myr and put Plague Myr coz Necropede gives me the chance to put a -1/-1 counter on target creature when it dies which is quite okay.

Thanks for the comments! Feedback really helps!

Been thinking about it... and Phyrexian Hydra is definitely the win condition Get it out on turn 3. Pump it with Unnatural Predation and Vines of Vastwood and its an almost sure win =D!
