Deck Description

Thought of this deck in like, 5 minutes so probably wouldn't hold up too well. Still looks fun and I may playtest it at FNM for shits and giggles. Creatures in the deck were the only decent ones I could think of for the colors. I ran Lord of the Void over Griselbrand just because for boarding out he supports the mill. May put in Griselbrand just for the card advantage he provides.

How to Play

Get your creatures in the graveyard as quickly as you can. If you end up with one in the starting hand or if one gets Unsummoned/Simic charmed/Dramtic Rescued back to your hand just discard it with Liliana. Board out to make it a mill deck in the second round. Your opponent will board out against Reanimator while you just made it into a mill deck.

Deck discussion for Esper Reanimation

Your unburial rights will never be used. You run six total creatures. All of them seven+ cmc. Its wasting 4 spots in your deck. At the very least, you should run just one of it. The field wipes that would get rid of your creatures, say destroy, avacyn gets past it. If they use planar cleansing, you have counters for it. If you main deck sphinx's reve, and run about 3, you'll never be on the draw, and can take care of the threats.

Next off, the aggro is going to hurt. A lot. I usually recommend blind obedience (a good substitute for unburial rights) to stop some of the turn two and three damage combos.

It's a reanimator deck...you put the creatures in the graveyard and bring them to the battlefield with Unburial Rites. Avacyn makes all my permanents indestructible so if I have multiple creatures out with Avacyn they won't die. I wasn't able to fit a Blind Obedience in the main deck.
