Deck Description

This is probably going to be one of the only times I even consider the use of a Planeswalker in one of my decks, purely because Venser, the Sojourner is ridiculously great, and pretty fair.

U/W delay deck, to bring out the best in any creature and to slow the opponent's. Legacy format, but the new SoM cards will certainly appear in here as well.

All comments welcome, be they constructive criticism or otherwise. The constructed criticism is much wanted, though, as opposed to random jeering.

Deck discussion for The Art of Delay

Nice deck, although I feel that the Invisimancer's ability is a bit wasted without a powerful creature to deliver unblockable hits turn after turn. I'll think about using Venser in my Ally deck, thanks for the idea :)

Yeah, there's nothing big in here, but at least when I get the chance to deal real damage, I can give my little buggers unblockable.

Might I suggest 'Soul Warden'... Because you have a lot of creatures that are played repeated or come back into play. I would ditch Reality Acid for 'Narcolepsy' for creature lockdown, because it is instantaneous and costs 1 less to play. What about 'Otherworldly Journey'? You can beef your creatures up with it, and double their "comes into play" effects. 'Luminarch Ascension' could also be amazing for this deck due to their creatures summoning sickness every time they are re-played from being bounced back to their hand. 'Propaganda' or 'Ghostly Prison' would slow them down even more, if it truly is about the 'art of delay.'

I looked at Narcolepsy. And I have to say, I don't like its wording. Just tapping the creature doesn't seem to work well here. Shooting Reality Acid back and forth makes more sense, so it 'delays' any forthcoming damage your opponents would deal by neutralizing the threat. And I considered Otherworldly Journey, one of my favorite Instants from Kamigawa, personally. But, I use it often in my Whitemane deck, and I felt the need to shake it up a little, and like the Turn to Mist. However, the Propaganda seems like a nice idea. Thank you for the suggestions, YakuzaDemon, I'll keep them in mind.

Unless this is a Deck Challenge, get rid of Disperse for Into the Roil.

Into the Roil requires an extra 1U, for a card draw. I just don't like the idea of a spell that costs 2UU for the same thing, just a card draw added. But, thanks for the comment, Aaboy66, as usual I appreciate it.
