I call The Scarab God "Scrubby" in an affective tone as Scrubby is very good at doing one thing: scrubbing the competition out of the way for victory. The inspiration really was just wanting to play a fun zombie control deck.
So, due to Scrubby's ability, GYs are my playground. Getting to pick and choose choice creatures out of my opponent's gy's and turn them against them. And in the meantime, supoort those creatures with Death Baron, Eternal Skylord, Death's Majesty, Noxious Ghoul, etc. If say, GYs are exiled, that's ok. Becuase there's already plenty of zombies to be made so Scrubby still procks off on my upkeep, and my opponent's still die to life loss. At some points, combat is really static, so the fact the Scrubby pings my opponent's for all my zombies, and let's me set up many turns in advance, it's still gonna be an uphill battle for them. Like I said, a really fun zombie control deck to scrub the competition outta here.
