Deck Description

I wanted something (relatively) cheap to build for Modern- the Cryptic commands could be some other counterspell (lost in the Mists, maybe?) or bounce card. The idea is that you bounce lands (note that the spells do not say "nonland permanent") all day, draw cards off Jace and let the artifacts do their work. Zur's Wierding lets you seal the deal by skipping their land draws.

It probably gets flattened by Affinity or most anything with mountains in it. I really have no idea what is out there.

I didn't realize that those were modern-legal. I will look into it.

Jace's Archivist? I would also suggest some one mana cantrips as you have nothing to do on your first turn at all

Hadn't really thought of the archivist, but that could be pretty nasty with the weirding. Not sure what cantrips would be worth playing; preordain or ponder, I suppose? hmm.

I was thinking along the lines of those cards. They are banned in modern though. Sleight of Hand and Serum Visions aren't though.
My thinking of the Archivist is that it is great card-draw to keep the flow of bounce spells going, especially as the bounce spells keep cards in their hand.
