Have been designing a couple of super basic (and super budget) decks to teach with.This one is based on life gain. I made sure to keep a pretty basic mana curve and try to include different types of cards. It has some of everything (Creature, Instant, Sorcery, Enchantment, Aura, Artifact) to help teach with. It has a solid mana curve and some card draw mechanics. For a theme I grabbed everything I could that gains life when it enters the battlefield then a couple things which synergizes with that. Also have a super simple sideboard to swap in Divine Favor if you need a tad more buffing.Not perfect but fun and simple.
No strange combos or strategies. I think cycling Renewed Faith for 2 then paying the 2 for Dawn of Hope so you draw two is about as complicated as this deck gets.Everything gains a little life to build a buffer. Use your flyers (preferably buffed a little) and other creatures to wear down opponent and outlast with the life gain. A potential powerhouse in the late game is Dawn of Hope. Because everything gains you life, everything lets you draw a card for 2 mana more. Also lets you make tokens with left over mana each turn. The other powerhouse card is Chalice of Life. Get it transformed for an alternate win condition.

No equipment?! jk nice beginner deck. When I got taught someone just handed me some crazy horror deck thing and taught me as we went in a 6 way free for all. Chaos!

Ha yeah I know. I wanted one of everything so I was trying to make that work but it felt like just shoving it in there.I'll add Sylvok Lifestaff to the side board, how about that?
