I was thinking that, but how would I use green mana? Wen snake basket is colorless?
<_< u dont need colorless mana to use it bro. u can even use like rampant growth to fetch either color blue or green if its that big a deal. the other option is the inf mana combo using myr galvanizer and another myr.
True, mayb I'll run myrs instead, and have that as a sub theme
yup. i have abused that combo alot myself. most the time i catch ppl off guard by it. they just see the galvanizer and go hmm a myr deck. then i either go inf mana for a fireball or i drop and swing with the myr battelsphere for pretty much inf damage too. after they see it, well the galvanizers dont live long -_-
Haha, yeah thats the problem of myr, they sound nice but im afraid ppl are goin to shoot it down before I get the combo off. Any other fast infinite mana combos you kno of?

Hmm mayb ill go that route, whats the combo again? Do you have a deck list for it?
Another really good infinite mana combo is Palinchron and Caged Sun. Cast palinchron and float while caged sun is on the field targeting blue, then float all your mana that was untapped to return palinchron then recast, do this for infinite then use your snake or if you want to have more fun, Blue sun zenith them for 67,573 just cause you can.
I can see how this could can be underrated easy. Gaea's Cradle makes this pretty nuts later for sure. I think it would be best to add in Doubling Season or Parallel Lives. You already are getting green from Cradle might as well add in some things to increase your output. If youdon't want to add in green than add in Intangible Virtue to buff up your tokens, or maybe even an Elesh Norn. Grand Architect could also help with some ramping but it wouldn't really be needed. batman69, there is another inf mana and power boost u can use but it kinda kills what ur tryin to do here. Enzuri Ring Leader plus Devoted Druid equals inf power and mana all in the same shot.

hmm... well there r many options. the lotus frrom m13, more myr, darksteel ignot etc. just a preference thing at that point.

Cathars crusade + doubling season. Bang! Combo! So lets say you put out 10 snakes. It doubles to 20. All your snakes get a ton of counters as they come into play. I was thinks of running the artifact lands, but feel scared that they would be easily target for artifact removed, but deff is a thought!
My wife runs this in her blue artifact deck. It's super-annoying, haha. While her deck is vastly different than yours, one thing I would suggest is to run at least 2x Phyrexian Metamorph. Gives you great flexibility, like cloning your opponents creatures, or just clone your artifacts. She runs 4x Thran Dynamo and is not shy about cloning those to give her even greater mana power. Finally, you should run the blue and white artifact lands (Seat of the Synod, Ancient Den). Also, if you wouldn't mind checking out my Ghave token deck. If you could find a way to get the " Mox lotus " from Unhinged you may add a infinite amount of mana to your pool but you kinda need to " cheat " it into play at cost of 15 its kinda expensive. But on the other hand you can make a lot of mana with this deck so it might happen

yeah i think the mox would be a nice card to use in this deck. i got a red burn deck that could use a little help if you could take a look at it would be much appreciated
problem is, its an unhinged card sooooooooo u kinda need to let ur opp decide if u can use it or not.
yeah its a thing that people need to decide in advanced. Where i play they do allow them but i can understand people if they don't want to play against them.
ive never been a big fan of infinte loops but if you want just mana spam i made my friend a pretty vicious hydra deck revolving around elvish archdruids llanowar elves vorinclex and omnath. its not gonna be as fast as an infinate loop but hes gotten up to 9 mana on turn 3-4. my other friend also plays a defender deck where he uses walls of tangle or something but its a green wall that taps for mana equal to the number of creatures with defender on your field

Since you're using mostly colorless a good addition to your land would be the Urza land cards.
This is what will happen with snake basket. You: "I infinite mana lollercopters infinite snakes you loooose!!!" Opponent: "After snake basket resolves I Magmaquake for 2. You were saying?" Or any other wrath type effect, hell even a pyroclasm would wreck your day. It's not quite as good as you think.
You can use any color mana to cast colorless spells. Staff of Domination has a bunch of combos to produce infinite mana http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Discussion.aspx?multiverseid=50162 Another good combo is Elvish Archdruid plus Wirewood Lodge, as long as you have two elves you have an infinite mana source.

find a way to get akroma memorial out and you'll have a lot of snakes that no one wants to fuck with
quillspike and two or more devoted druids is also infinite mana, plus infinite/infinite quillspike. and still infinite/infinite quillspike with just one devoted druid, just no mana gain.
