Deck Description

NOTICE: this deck is just for shits, and CAN win turn five if given the right hand :)
If you think this deck can be turned into something more competitive please let me know what you think.

Turn one: dark ritual into mornsong
Turn two: search for Ad Nauseam
Turn three: search for Skirge familiar
.....
Turn five: play Skirge familiar and (if you have 5 swamps) dump them to add five black mana and cast Ad Nauseam dumping your library into your hand until you get to exsanguinate. Use Skirge Familiar 's ability to discard all your swamps addin up a SHIT TON of mana playing into exsanguinate FTW!

**edited jan 13th 2012
Puttin in 2 elixir of immortality, because I told demonking if this made front page I'll throw them
Uses: if anything would be countered, I'll just nshuffle them back into library :)

Deck discussion for Turn 5 EDH WIn!

Hum... what you want is a consume spirit... not Bond of Agony

hmmm.. the EDH tourneys and games ive seen usualy run as 4 players to each game ... consume spirit would again take out only 1 player and leave u defenceless. however consume spirit Would work perfectly in a 1v1 game.
i like to see ppl helpin out tho. i realy want this to work :)

ello,
just wanted to mention....
if no one takes any damage from anything other than your commander's ability (wich you take as well). playing bonds to kill, would kill you as well resulting in a draw. The best you could hope for is to take everyone (including yourself) down to 1 life. then swing with your only creature to take ONE person out of the game, if they have no defence by turn 5 (highly unlikely).
this is a great idea.
honestly there is an EDH torney each week in my area that keeps taking players away from my vintage chaos games. i would love to see this deck or something VERY simalar so i can attend the EDH torney and shut it down (so to speak) regularly untill my vintage players get sick of it and return LOL
i hope you can tweak this into an awsome wikid fast kill / win deck (for my sake LOL)

Haha nice! Totally agree, green stomps FTW, and I'll take a look at it as soon as I can, I'm busy today with school and dodgeball, but later on I'll put my two cents in on your deck and also get started on the stumpy edh :p

List some generals you think would be kickass for complete STOMPY!

lol nice and hey bud ya cant have 2 elixir in the deck lol just one:P

so your lookin for a general huh???
how bout Rhys the Redeemed?
you could splash white (if you want to) and its cheap as hell to get him out and double all creatures on the board and if you got parallel lives in play to double what you have doubled ...... there would be a crazy amount of stompy-ness. imho stuff that brings tokens out opens spots for other card. i mean you wouldnt need to have 8503456937846 creatures to make it stompy ... just a few then double and double and double...ect

0

too common for a general. and u have to base a completely diff deck around it not really stompy .

ello just wanted to throw alil more in here .... adding an elixir is an AWSOME idea for a sorta second try ... my brother threw somethin at me that i hadnt thought of tho .... sword of plows and counterspells ....if any part of this combo gets stoped (ie; plow the skirge or counter the exsanginate) you would be a sitting duck with alota ppl hating you for tryin to "combo out" as he calls it. the counterspell can be fixed with the elixir but if that creature gets exiled its over :(
i still plan on trying this deck out at the next torney this weekend but the more i think about it the more i think its gonna get stopped

Yea I totally agree, I more so made this deck for fun :3 it would be sweet to win with it

made this deck and seemed great at first but a quick board wipe early game gave another player the turns needed to fetch his infinite combo 2 turns before me then second game had my skirge turned into a frog so I couldn't play Exsanguinate the next player killed it after my turn... after everyone saw the combo they just searched for early kill cards or counters to stop the deck cold, it's a great one trick pony but I think needs a few extra combo's to keep up if one fails.

what do you suggest I put in, im curious on what you think is needed :3

0

my first impression would be to try the Boots that have shroud/hexproof along with haste or whispersilk cloak or a way to put all land from library, hand or graveyard into play so if discarding them fails the first time you can feldons cane them back (which is the only card I added so I can try the combo again after a counterspell) and as long as they're in play you can try again if the skirge dies.

0

Interesting, what do you think bout elixir instead of feldons cane?

0
Posted 13 January 2012 at 07:41

any card that shuffles your graveyard into your library would work and if you have more than one you can keep trying your combo. I chose Feldons cane out of nostalgia.

swap out a few swamps for cabal ritual, culling the weak, mox opal, mox diamond, chrome mox, 2 kobolds of kher keep (for the culling and chrome mox), this will allow you to combo out earlier by playing her and searching up ad nauseam and then playing these spells to play the skirge familiar once you draw the deck allowing you to skirge a turn earlier.

I once designed a similar EDH that used tendrils to win, filling the deck with 0 and 1 mana cards which would take my life down to 6 or 7 before casting everything and tendrilling for a massive storm-count. Sadly I have since deleted it, however, this is a much simpler idea and works against any number of opponents as long as none of them run any counterspells...

Well done, although if I ever versed someone running this deck in real life I would probably be forced to stab them.

wait can the kobolds, cant run them in mono black, replace them with a memnite (for culling) and a blood pet (for the chrome mox as well as allowing you to combo off a turn earlier if you start with it in your hand)

I made a deck almost exactly like this a while back, exept that it won turn 4 or earlier. culling the week, 0 cost artifact creatures, and as much 0-1 cc ramp you can find will take this deck up to my deck's speed. i suggest mana crypt, sol ring, mana vault, mox diamond, lotus petal, etc. then the idea is to mulligan untill you have a ramp card (speaking of mulligans, serrum powder), and if it is a ramp card that increases mana by 2, you got yourself t3 win. if by one, it's turn 4.

Did you make it edh, or legacy, because ive seen the deck your talkin about legacy style, but not edh. Do you have a link or list of it?

0
Posted 14 January 2012 at 04:26

it was EDH, though i'll probably make a legacy version sooner or later. i don't have the list on workstation, i'll put it up here tomorrow morning. i'll post the link when i do. I only really made one draft, so it still has room for improvement.

what if your playin against 50 counters in a 99 card deck with 10 tutors and one mystic speculation with an islandwalk theme wrexial the risen deep will kill you, i know thars kinda harsh but please and you can only have one elixer of immortality in a edh deck .

now for constructive criticism

to make that better , its not a bad idea but blueblack control would protect your combo so you could actually win shhit i'll make a 5 turn edh that'll actually work maybe 3 turn
