Deck Description

A silly deck based on using Cephalids to throw cards into your graveyard randomly until you lock the opponent down with a combination of Web of Inertia and Mist of Stagnation.

Here's the basic idea. Mist of Stagnation pretty much removes everyone's untap phase. They can untap as many cards as is in their graveyard, so the idea is just to have enough cards in your graveyard to untap whatever you want, while making sure your opponents have no graveyard. And with Web of Inertia, your opponents wouldn't even be able to give one last attack before being untappable.

After setting up the lockdown, just tap everything out with Cephalid Emperor, Cephalid Retainer, Leonin Bola, and Ensnare.

To make sure you have enough cards in your graveyard, you need 2 creatures, an equipment (preferably Shuko), and at least 1 Aristocrat or Illusionist. By swapping the equipment back and forth, the ability triggers for the Aristocrat and/or the Illusionist, dropping cards into your graveyard. Simply do this until you have enough cards in your graveyard to untap whatever you want.

With a Crystal Chimes out, you could also use this tactic in order to find the any of the enchantments you need for lockdown. After dropping a few handfuls of cards into your graveyard, just sac the Chimes to return them all into your hand.

The lockdown is not necessarily full, as each turn your opponents will draw a card and eventually will have to discard, allowing some permanents to become untapped. But that's why you have stuff to tap them back. The lockdown should be enough to allow you to attack with the Cephalids and finish them off, unless of course they have a disenchant ready, then you just better hope their mana was already all tapped out.
