New Format: Draw Damage

by Bellairs on 27 May 2012

Main Deck (40 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

My friend made a new format for MTG, just to shake it up:

Main decks are limited to 40 cards, with a max of 3 copies per card.

There is a separate zone for basic lands. Every turn you can choose to draw a card from the main deck, or select any basic land from the land zone and put it into your hand.

There is no limit to the amount or kind of basic lands in the land zone.

There is no limit to the kind of cards for the main deck (although, for sportsmanship's sake, don't abuse this rule).

Any effects for "your library" affects your main deck (so mill decks do not mill from the land deck).

Anyone else interested? Make a deck in this format, we dare you.

Deck discussion for New Format: Draw Damage

When I see someone who is on the new decks list 4 or 5 times, it makes me think that you aren't putting any thought into the actual deck.

Hypocrite, look at your decklist from April and rethink that statement. Next time you write something at least make it constructive.
That being said, I would consider adding more counter spells that allow to draw like confound, disrupt, hinterlight, etc.

@ angus_02: Hey, it's my vacation time, let me have some fun.

@ NBonezM: I'll keep that in mind, card draw is huge in this format.
