Wanted to find a home for Eidolon of Rhetoric- flash and instants seemed the best way... this is a budget version.
So this idea is designed to be a tempo based, "skies" type of deck that uses Eidolon of Rhetoric to bottleneck your opponent into one spell a turn but allows you to flash in your creatures or abuse unmorph\ exploit effects. You combine that with Mastery of the Unseen and you'll soon be flooding the board with 2\2's and your opponent won't be able to answer only casting 1 spell a turn.However, the deck doesn't need the Eidolon to work, the Mastery of the Unseen + Citadel Siege combo is overwhelming on it's own. Putting a 4\4 into play each turn is tough to beat. Not to mention the life gain keeps you alive forever.Also the deck has lots of little interactions that help it along the way. After unmorphing the Stratus Dancer or the Hidden Dragonslayer you can return them to your hand with the help of Quickling and reuse them. Need to save something from removal? Quickling does it again. Need to pick up that manifested Dissolve? You get my drift. Additionally, you can go aggressive and wide early with all the 2 drops, but then pick them up for morph use. Need to use that Silumgar Sorcerer again? Boom- consider it done. And speaking of the Sorcerer, he works really well with manifested lands.I know the deck is missing a few things, but not sure what. Probably need some kind of removal, or something to keep the skies clear for the flyers. The Citadel Siege tap ability can help some there, but that's how we're making our guys bigger to get damage through... I'm also a little short on the card draw with only Anticipate. I'd really like to keep the deck on the lower end for cost- otherwise I'd be running 2 or 3 Dragonlord Ojutai easily as he'd be a great fit.Suggestions welcome.
