After playing this deck for a long time now, I experienced that for this deck, a Leyline of Vitality is a MUST HAVE in your opening hand. Many times I had to take a 5- or 4- mulligan to get it - not too bad as it will turn out later in the game.So the best hand to keep is:3 (Dual) Lands, Slumbering Dragon, Leyline of Vitality, Protean Hydra, Ion StormPut Leyline onto the the battlefield.Turn 1: Land - Slumering DragonTurn 2: Land - Protean with one counter OR you play Blessings of Nature on the dragon for its Miracle costs if you are a lucky bastard :) OR you simply play a beetle.Turn 3: Land - Ion Storm OR Fire Spout to clear opponent's creatures OR you cast a(-nother) HydraTurn 4: I usually start shooting around now with the Hydra, or Slumering Dragon got 5 counters already and can attack.
