Deck Description

Varolz LOVE cookie!! OMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM!!!! (The creatures are the cookies)

How to Play

Multiple win cons. Varolz, Savageborn Hydra, Bash with multiple hard-hitting creatures. This deck will fall flat against an Esper control deck however, and I can't seem to find a suitable way around it except Alpha Authority

Deck discussion for Varloz LOVE cookies!! (FINAL)

Golgari charm (mass regen) or sheltering word (hexproof and lifegain) works well

great standard deck. but if you're really looking to have a good modern deck, add 4 deaths shadow. 1 for 13 +1/+1 counters is pretty dang great.

If you run this, drop signal the clans for another rancor and another putrefy. Any of the three decks would be good for game day, it all depends on the opponent. However, I must say blood baron of WIN has more versatility and can sustain itself longer with all of the lifegain. If you want to play it safe, go with baron. If you think big creatures and aggro will be better for your meta, use this. If you want to catch people completely off guard, go with mill

Well I'm playing Mill tonight at my local, so will see how the surprise factor goes. Big creatures would be maybe too slow, depends on everyone else. Blood Baron win is again, probably the best bet as you say due to it's lastability. And again, like you say, has plenty of answers to a lot of decks I know the guys play at my local..

So you don't think Signal the clans worth the spot? Just more removal and buff?

Sounds like a plan, tell us how it goes :)

Nah, its inconsistent and takes up a turn when this deck would rather drop a creature. If it sent them to the graveyard/cookie monsters mouth it would be worth it, but presently I don't think it is

Maybe cards like Mulch / Grisly Salvage... Hell even Deadbridge chant...

Ended up playing my cookie monster deck, played a few friendlies and that just came up as the better deck. Didn't turn out too badly.

1 / 2 against a rat deck (loss)
2 / 0 against Bant elves (win)
2 / 0 against Jund wolves (win)
1 / 2 against Bant Geist / Enchantments (loss)

Came 8th overall for the night, now to see how Blood baron will go. Got more voice of resurgences so will add them to the sideboard.

Sweet. Even one win against bant hexproof is impressive. Rat deck?
